What surprised me reenctly was the spams I was getting on my blog through the comment section.At first, they didn't seem a spams (they would make generic comments, saying that the post was very helpful, etc), but Akismet flagged it.That's when I noticed that the email address was bogus and the URL was usually weird (I didn't try to check it).I probably would have missed it if I was doing the screening.
